青山横北郭，白水绕东城。

此地一为别，孤蓬万里征。

浮云游子意，落日故人情。

挥手自兹去，萧萧班马鸣。

Farewell

Green hills lie to the north of the city,

White waters curve around the eastern walls.

Here, we part ways,

A lone traveler embarks on a journey of a myriad miles.

Drifting clouds carry the wanderer's thoughts,

The setting sun evokes memories of old friends.

With a wave of the hand, departure is made,

The sound of horses' hooves fades into the distance.
